Volkswagen Passat Wagon

Volkswagen Passat was introduced to America in 1990 as the successor of the midsize
Quantum wagon. In 1998, an all new wagon was introduced to the market. In 2002,
the Passat Wagon was upgraded to include the top-notch Volkswagen Passat W8. Volkswagen
Passat available at present is referred to as the European wind; it is slightly
larger than its predecessor. If you want a car that can carry more loads, Volkswagen
Passat would be it. The Passat Wagon is larger than the Sedan by 41.5 cubic feet
of cargo volume and is specially equipped with useful standard parts such as cargo
cover, roof rails, rear wiper/ washer, making it easier for you to transport goods.
The 2004 2005
Volkswagen Passat Wagon offers three engine types namely: 1.8L 170 hp, 166 lbs-ft torque, 4 cylinder,
inline, 5V, turbocharged, gas engine; 2.8L 190 hp, 206 lbs-ft torque, 6 cylinder,
5V, gas engine; and 4.0L 270 hp, 273 lbs-ft torque, 8 cylinder 4V, 72? W, gas
engine. Two transmissions are offered: 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed
automatic transmission with manual-shift mode. Also offered is the option of a
front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Volkswagen Passat Wagon comes in four level trims:
the Wagon GS, Wagon GLS, Wagon GLX and the Wagon W8.
The W8 model carries the most powerful engine, a 4 L engine that generates enormous
270 horses at 6000 rpm and achieves 273-lb ft of torque at 2750 rpm. It comes
with a 6-speed manual transmission or 5-speed automatic with manual shift mode.
A 4-wheel drive is standard for this model as well as high-intensity discharge
headlamps with washers and sport suspension.
