Volkswagen Passat Problem

Car problems are inevitable, even with top-notch cars such as the Volkswagen
Passat. Some of the problems encountered by Volkswagen Passat users include problems
on: engine light and knock sensor, oil consumption, A/C's evaporator and drum,
clutch and timing belt.
An individual who complains about the engine light and knock sensor says that
the problem had occurred seven times that the car has to be repaired seven times
as well -- four times under the warranty and three times at the owners' expense.
According to mechanics, this is very unlikely to happen. Another complains that
the car guzzles huge quantities of oil, which mechanics say due to valve problems.
A user also complains of his car's fuel consumption as it is below the figures
he expects from a Volkswagen Passat. The other one reports that the timing belt
broke down at 72,000 miles. It is expected to last till it reaches 105,000 miles.
Car problems are irritating not only because of inconveniences of commuting without
a car but because of huge repair costs. A car is one of man's necessities these
days, thus, it such a hassle when your car has got a problem. Serious car problems
can also lead to unwanted accidents that can be detrimental. Thus, it is important
to have your car checked regularly to avoid big problems to occur.
